I’ve led through dysfunction, and I’ve had the incredible experience of working alongside a board president who truly partnered with me. That contrast changed everything. When leadership works, you can build a strong organization.

That’s why I created Lead Through It—a small, confidential cohort for Executive Directors ready to take back their leadership power without trying to fix everyone else. This isn’t about calling out your board. It’s about equipping YOU.

 

What is Lead Through It?
It is a 6-week, Zoom-based strategic support cohort for Executive Directors navigating board dysfunction, leadership strain, or burnout.


It’s not therapy.  It’s not a board training.  It’s strategic clarity, leadership structure, and confidential support—for EDs only.
You don’t need to overhaul your bylaws to lead with strength. You need the right tools, mindset, and space to process what’s really going on.

Phase 1: Diagnose & Assess

•    Reflect on your leadership identity and boundaries


Phase 2: Strategize & Act
•    Quietly implement structure using agendas, roles, and communication tactics
•    Apply governance upgrades even if your board isn’t asking for them
•    Influence culture without direct confrontation


Phase 3: Build Resilience & Lead Strategically
•    Create sustainable workflows and boundaries
•    Build confidence in your role as a board-savvy ED
•    Connect with ongoing peer and coaching support
